Nu-Era will ensure that all actions of our employees are lawful. Every recovery agent is trained and educated in the art of vehicle recovery. All agents have their drivers abstract submitted to our insurance company. The agents are given a repossession test to educate them in any areas that they may need more information on. All agents have a Tow Truck Endorsement as required by New York State. Upon completion the agents are given an ID badge identification them as Professional Recovery Agents employed by Nu-Era Service. All agents have complete uniforms. These tools help us to set ourselves apart from the fly by night towing companies and identify Nu-Era as the Professionals.

Nu-Era Services will not let any agent do investigations on any assignment. This is against the law in New York. To do ANY investigation you must be a New York State licensed Private Investigator. An unlicensed agent can only check an address that is supplied by the client.

Upon repossession the agent will appear in person at the Police agency that controls the district. The client will be notified and a detailed inspection report of the unit will be done

Our team of licensed Private Investigators will handle any skip tracing or investigating needed for any account.

All units will have keys made on site. Nu-Era Services has one of the only Ford New Generation Pats & Pats II transponder computers in the area. We also have a Chrysler transponder computer good thru the year 2005. Our professional locksmith has been with our family since the early years and has grown in education as the industry tries to find new ways of preventing automotive thief.

Personal property, always a sore spot, is inventoried, bagged and tagged in a climate control storage area. Property is stored for a period of 30 days after which a letter is sent to the debtor to notify them of our intent to destroy the items. If the property is not picked up it is given to a local charity such as Good Will.

All units are locked and stored inside or out. Our main compound has 24hr security cameras monitoring all activity on site. Fencing is 10 ft high with 3 rows of barbed wire encompassed by rolls of razor wire. The Buffalo K-9 Squad borders the entire East end of the complex. We have enjoyed over10 years of vandal free storage.
